This is a possible leak from Apple, or they could have done it on purpose, to get people excited about the new iphone 4G that should be released later this year.

iPhone 4Gs New Features
The features of the new iPhone 4G are pretty much what was expected, and what the world was asking for. These included:
• Front-facing camera
• Improved back-camera with flash
• Micro-SIM
• Improved display. It's unclear if it's the 960x640 display, but it certainly looks like it.
• What appears to be a second mic for noise cancellation, at the top of the iPhone, next to the headphone jack.
• Seperate buttons for volume (one for up, one for down) which are now metalic.
Changes Made To the iPhone 4G
Appearance:
The back on the iPhone 4G is flat, unlike the rounded back of the iPhone 3G and the 3Gs, this maked it a lot thinner.
There is now a silver metal border to it.
It actually has a smaller screen than the 3Gs.
3 grams heavier
Performance:
16% Larger battery, meaning that this iPhone should be able to run for longer. The battery life realy did nead improving on the old iPhones, and on the 4G Apple appear to have done just that!
The screen resoloution on the 4G is much better than the screens of the iPhone 3G and 3GS.
